TERMS AND CONDITIONS for courses at the Manor House Stables
By making a booking on any of our courses, you agree to abide by our terms and conditions outlined below.
Special dietary requirements
We are unable to tailor our course content for special dietary requirements. However, please note that you are able request a vegetarian option for lunch.
Please inform us in advance of any allergies and other dietary requirements when booking your place(s).
All payment must be made in full at the time of booking using our online PayPal payment system. We no longer take provisional bookings or deposits and cannot confirm your place on a course until we receive full payment.
- Cancellations made by you:
Course cancellations more than 30 days from the start of your course
You may request a change of course date or a full refund up to 30 days before the start of the course you have booked
Course cancellations up to 14 days before the start of the course
At this stage we will happily transfer you to another course, subject to availability, without additional cost. However, refunds cannot be made at this stage.
Course cancellations within 14 days before the start of the course
Courses sizes are small (generally 4 – 6 in total) and bookings are normally made many months in advance. It is very difficult for us to resell any places within 14 days of the start of the course and any cancellation within this time will result in unacceptable costs to our business. Regrettably, we can neither refund nor reallocate you to another course if cancellations are made within this period. We recognise that emergencies sometimes occur at last minute which means you are unable to attend the course and up until now we have tried to understand and accommodate such emergencies, although it is at cost to ourselves. However, in line with other course providers and in order to continue this small family business in a viable way, we now need to introduce this condition stating that we are unable to reimburse last minute cancellations. We therefore strongly recommend that you take out some form of insurance which will cover you for many issues which may prevent you from attending the course at last minute, such as illness, sickness of family members, travel disruption etc. We are however, happy to introduce the new policy that you may transfer the booking to another person if you cannot make it yourself.
- Cancellations made by us:
Manor House Stables is entitled to cancel any course at any time. If we are unable to attract a suitable number of participants on a particular course, we reserve the right to cancel the course and let you know as soon as we can. We undertake to offer a suitable transfer to an alternative date or course, or a full refund payable within 14 days of the cancellation date.
Gift vouchers are payable in full upon booking. Refunds are not available on gift voucher purchases under any circumstance, nor can gift vouchers be exchanged for cash or other goods. However, gift vouchers are transferable, so if you are unable to attend your course, you may contact us to nominate a replacement. However, this must follow the cancellation policy listed above. Gift vouchers are valid for one year from their date of purchase.
