This is the most wonderful place we have ever stayed in.  You have gone to so much effort to make the Hayloft a warm and cosy retreat.  Everything has been thought of; the kitchen is particularly well-equipped.  The furniture and decor are beautiful - so much attention to detail - and you have inspired us regarding what kind of house we hope to have one day.  We hve felt so relaxed here!  And it has been an absolute feast for the eyes - like straight out a a magazine.  It has been the perfect way to celebrate submitting our PhDs and we hope to be back one day!  P.S. Thanks for showing us how wonderful gramophones are!  Definitely want one at home now.

...an amazing weekend in the Hayloft

What an amazing place you have!  Every inch is as comfortable and relaxing as the next!  We've had a hilarious weekend full of laughs and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone wanting a break.  All the homely touches made it that extra bit special and we cannot wait to come again.  Overall, an amazing weekend in the Hayloft.

Accommodation perfect

Had a lovely time.  Accommodation perfect - pity it was to warm to light the fire.  Cannot fault anything and would recomend it to anyone - we also had a peep at the Hayloft in case we come back with friends - Amazing.

The Hayloft is an excellent base for a quiet "minimoon", with the big copper bath and the cosy wood burner particularly great features.

A lovely place to relax...a very welcome short break after all the rushing around to organise our wedding.  The Hayloft is an excellent base for a quiet "minimoon", with the big copper bath and the cosy wood burner particularly great features.  The hamper of food was fantastic; although I would definitely recommend the food at the Penny Farthing Inn, Timberland, the best meals we had were those we managed to rustle up ourselves from the lovely fresh ingredients we were provided with on our arrival.  Bothy Sherry and Irven were very welcoming and helpful.  Would definitely recommend this place.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to this area - exploring on foot and by bike by day and coming back to a warm and comfortable 'Hayloft' to relax in the evenings.  The hospitality has been great and the "little touches" appreciated by us both - THANK YOU!

This was our fourth visit overall to the Manor House Stables, our second here in the Hayloft.  As always there was a warm and friendly welcome. 

The Hayloft is always cosy and inviting, and those special touches always appreciated.  As ever, Sherry and Irven stay true to the eco-friendly theme, it is very refreshing once you have stayed here, you will never tire of it and you will be back! Found a new favourite place for tea/coffee, Archie's at Woodhall Spa.  They are friendly and serve an excellent flat white!

Thank you so much for having us.  Our stay was absolutely perfect for our anniversary getaway!  I am now in love with the 'snug' and the gorgeous bath!  Thank you for all the kind gifts you gave us, and the wine was simply delicious!  Jonny very much enjoyed being the keeper of the fire, we were never cold!!  I will be recommending this place to everyone I know, my mum is already planning a trip.  Keep up the good work, I love the eco-friendly feel to the place!  Very Cool!  Lots of Love...

Wonderful property.  Loved all the little touches - box bed was wonderful.  Thanks for amazing first night meal and especially for the gluten free, vegetarian hamper and first night meal adaptations.  Very kind of you and greatly appreciated.  Whilst here we visited Woodhall Spa and enjoyed the experience of the Kinema in the Woods.  The Penny Farthing in Timberland was lovely for an evening meal... food lovely even for vegetarians.  Lincoln Cathedral is beautiful and Cathedral quarter has lovely small independent shops...it's worth the drive.  Thanks again for amazing hospitality and a great cosy cottage to relax in.  Will miss the lovely evenings by the fire and the amazing bathroom!!  Will definitely recommend this amazing property!

Every need has been catered for & the vegetables were very welcome.

The Bothy has been very warm & cosy, we have been so comfortable in spite of teh unseasonable weather.  Every need has been catered for & the vegetables were very welcome.  The meal on the first evening was excellent.  Thank you Irven for your hospitality in difficult circumstances, it was very much appreciated.

Many thanks for a lovely quiet break.  The Bothy is wonderful and the stove is a delight to use, and the bath!  What can you say?  A cosy and very comfortable few days.

We've had a lovely time here - the snow made it feel extra special!  The cottage is beautiful and exactly what we needed - a cosy retreat away from our hectic lives.  Thank you for creating this delightful haven.

Thank you again for our stay in the Bothy.  We have had a really relaxing time.  The meal was great, especially as we would have had trouble going out because of the snow.  The cottage has been lovely and warm, and felt so comfy we didn't want to go out.  We did however have a lovely walk in the snow...

As soon as we arrived we felt welcome and at home.  The hamper is truly wonderful, along with the fresh veg and beautiful flowers.  The Hayloft itself is incredible and so lovely to be able to see how it was transformed.  It is pure luxury and a perfect retreat for a relaxing break.  The soaps and products all smell wonderful and the bath and shower are next level.  All of this is before actually exploring Woodhall Spa and surrounding areas!!

The fact that there are guide books, mags and even an informative DVD on Woodhall Spa made seeing the sights a breeze.  Also Sherry gave us a top tip about a walk along the river, which was fantastic, and we had sunshine!  Thank you!

Favourite place outside the Hayloft was definitely Janet's Tearooms and the Kinema!  Thank you so much and we hope to return again.

...beautiful little Bothy

We have had a really lovely week in what is (for us) an unusual area, far from home!  It has, of course, been helped immeasurably by this beautiful little Bothy.  It is the best equipped and cosiest 'cottage' we've every stayed in.  We visited Tattershall Castle which was very atmospheric.  A tour of Lincoln cathedral was absolutely stunning, well worth the admission fee.  Finally, the Kinema in the woods at Woodhall Spa - we loved it!

We had a wonderful relaxing Christmas in the Bothy.  Thank you for making our stay so comfortable!  The cottage is lovely and warm, the bathroom a real treat and the fresh vegetables came in handy when cooking Christmas dinner!  We will definitely stay again, maybe in the summer next time so we can enjoy the beautiful garden.  Thanks again.
