On today’s healthy eating course you will make the following delicious breads, all of which use a flour that you may not be familiar with including coconut, wholemeal spelt, rye, chestnut, rice, maize and einkorn. You will make the following;
Cornbread with sun-dried tomatoes and basil
Veg Patch Loaf (choices include potato, parsnip, carrot, sweet potato or beetroot)
Courgette, Cheese and Chestnut Flour Gluten-free Muffins
Beetroot, Blackberry & Blue cheese on a spelt flour base (your lunch!)
Rye Loaf with Orange & Fennel
Einkorn biscuits with Nigella seeds
A homemade 2-course lunch with wine and all refreshments during the day are included in today’s course. You will be baking and eating your own Beetroot, Blackberry, Broccoli & Blue Cheese pizza on a spelt bread base followed by ‘healthy’ pudding such as a spicy Apple Oat Crumble or a Banana, Blueberry & Coconut cake – either way you will be enjoying this with a glass of delicious locally-produced wine!
