March 22, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

As it is Mother’s Day today, we will be opening our doors to all on our special themed ‘Lincolnshire in Wartime’ day with emphasis on what the wives and mothers did at home and on the Front during both World Wars.  There will be many goodies awaiting for you to try as well as a small exhibition you can have a look at about the role of the Land Army girls in Lincolnshire and what it was like living and cooking during this time. Other displays include local stories of the nurses who worked at the VAD hospital in Scopwick in the First World War.
