Celebrating the Winter Solstice – 21st December

December 21 @ 10:00 am - 4:30 pm

£75.00

You will spend this festive day making candles, drying fruits, collecting foliage from the garden, learning to make your wreath and then decorating it with dried apples, oranges and other material.

In the morning you will cut and dry apples, oranges, lemons and limes, make a pomander with oranges and cloves and a candle or two to celebrate the solstice.

Lunch will include warming roast vegetables and festive apple cake or spicy apple crumble as well as mulled wine!  While still relaxing you will wander out into the garden, basket and secateurs in hand, to collect foliage, herbs, berries, weeds or whatever else you might find which can be used to a create gorgeous luxurious wreath.

Using a ring, moss and wire you will create a splendid wreath in the afternoon which can be decorated with some of your own dried fruit from the morning session.

A very rewarding way to celebrate the Solstice!
