Apple Day Baking – 21st October

October 21 @ 9:30 am - 5:30 pm

£95.00

Apple Day is an annual celebration of apples and orchards held around the 21st October. Apple Day was initiated by Common Ground in 1990 and has been celebrated every year since.  Special events are held around the country to celebrate local distinctiveness.

To celebrate Apple Day we are running this great course which has proved so popular in the past few years. Learn to use apples in your baking – it’s not all about apple pie!  On today’s course you will learn to bake;

  • Apple crisps
  • Cheddar & apple cornbread
  • Apple, stout & cheese soda bread
  • Spiced apple cake
  • Apple oat crumble
  • Toffee apple bread & butter pudding and
  • Apfelstrudel with almonds and Apfelkorn!

Lunch will be apple-themed, washed down with a glass of cider or apple juice of course!
