Providing you stay for at least 3 nights, we are totally flexible as to when you arrive, leave and how long you stay. Short breaks of 3 days or more are available all year round except for Christmas and New Year.

There is a 5% discount when the Bothy and Hayloft are booked together for 1 week or more. Also, if you stayed here before, we can now offer you a 'Loyalty' discount of 5%.

Please let us know if you have any special requirements or requests or have any questions you would like to ask about the holiday accommodation, the local area, public transport etc.

Collection from a local train or bus station can be arranged with us in advance.

Please note that the box bed in the Bothy is primarily suitable for children, teenagers and other smaller people! It is equipped with a full single size mattress but some may find the the access into the bed a bit of a struggle.

Please also note that the outside staircase to the ‘Hayloft’, although safe, is quite steep.

Everything is provided for your stay and included in the price - linen, towels, toiletries, useful items like paper towel, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid and plenty of logs for the wood-burning stove. No need to bring essentials such as milk, bread, butter, beer and wine! All this is also provided as well as the luxury hamper...

How to Book

Please use our new Availability Calendar for available dates and provisional bookings - a few simple instructions are given below if you need help with booking through this system. If you would like to print out these instructions, please download our 'How to Book' page.

1. Please click onto the ‘Check Availability and Book Online Now’ option below for the Bothy or Hayloft.

2. First select the number of nights required by selecting the required number from the drop-down menu.

3. On the Availability Chart select the available dates you are interested in for the required number of nights. A price for these nights will show for each night. You will see the total price for the nights selected above the 'Book Now' button to the right-hand side of the availability chart.

4. If you wish to proceed with the booking, please press the 'Book Now' button which will lead you to a form which you need to fill in before pressing the ‘Submit’ button.

5. We will confirm your dates when we receive the form and will let you know how much deposit you need to pay and by when. Deposits are £100 for 3, 4 or 5 night stays and £150 for longer stays of 6 nights or more. Please see section on different methods of payment.

6. Please download our Booking Form and send it back to us with your cheque (if you are paying by cheque). If you are paying by Paypal or by direct transfer then you can scan in your Booking Form and send it back as an attachment if you that is easier for you. For a Booking Form, please Click here.

7. When we receive your Booking Form and payment, we let you know by email. We will let also let you know the amount you still need to pay plus the date you need to pay it by.

How to Pay

At present, we accept cheques or direct transfers into our bank. If you still have a chequebook and would like to pay this way, then please send us a cheque with your Booking Form for your deposit (£100 for short breaks, £150 for longer stays) or for the full amount (if within 1 month of staying). If you would rather pay by direct transfer from your bank, please phone Sherry on 01526 378717 or 07979 750760 or email sherry@manorhousestables.co.uk and I will give you all the details.

We are really sorry but we do not accept pets although of course we welcome 'Helper' or Guide Dogs who accompany their owners (in the Bothy accommodation only).

Smoking is not allowed in the accommodation but it is fine if you wish to smoke in the garden.
